SCOOPLIGHT Theatre is on the hunt for a male actor.
The company is presenting a 20-25 minute performance of An Audience with Miss Cook in the ballroom at Government House on Sunday, 16 October. The script is original and based on one of the governesses who worked at Government House in the 1870s and kept a very detailed diary of her time there. The performance is part of the Perth Heritage Days festival and one of the rare occasions Government House opens its doors to the public. Performances are at 12pm and 1.30pm.
The male actor is one of two supporting characters for Miss Cook, someone between mid-20s and up to around 40, who will take on all the different male characters that Miss Cook meets during one year of her life. The actor may only be required to read his parts from the script, as if from a storybook.
