February 2010 – The Boys

Danni Ashton, director of the award winning plays The Sum of Us and A Streetcar Named Desire opens our 2010 with this hard and gritty Australian play set in a suburban backyard. The play was inspired by the real-life crimes committed against nurse Anita Cobby, and explores relationships of the boys involved with their family and girlfriends. May 2010 – Female Transport

Old Mill’s current Chairperson, Hywel Williams, reprises this play that he directed at Pheonix Theatre a few years ago. August 2010 – Away

Away is a beautiful Australian play that tells the story of three families on holiday under the spectre of the Vietnam War. It will be directed by Vanessa Jensen, who piloted our highly successful 2008 production of The Venetian Twins. more…
